My first ever jersey … hahahaha .. my class jersey actually. The class logo is a bit complicated designed by my fellow classmate. Today was the start of my common test week and it totally spoiled my mood. I couldn’t answer some questions just sitting there staring at blank space. SIgh.. what;s the use of studying when they ask you questions that need answers that you will never touch the lecture at all Somemore it was a complementary notes and it came out triple kill… die lah.. all my A’s flew away le :(. Tomorrow hope that it will turn out to be a better day. 2 down. 6 more to go..

yoz , I have not been updating my blog for quite some time. Well having holidays now, but its considered a study break for me to burst my brain cells for 2 weeks and mug for 8 subjects, What I dislike is that they cramp all 8 papers in five days. I have double papers for 3 days. I;m so stressed up now.

Went to JB on the 15th of June to celebrate dar’s birthday. Went to City Square and we ate at Kim Gary’s again. This time dar was the one who paid the whole course so I took the opportunity to order more food since he offered to pay :). MIne was a tasteless , I ordered the twin sauce pasta :(. He ordered his beef baked cheese rice again. We went back to SIngapore and managed to catch Fantastic Four and the rise of SIlver Surfer at 7.40 p.m at Causeway Point. The movie was ok not that nice. Poor dar kept couhing through out the movie although he tried drinking the cough remedy liang cha :).

These few days I have been sick , down with flu, cough , phlegm, sigh. off all days and weeks why now when I;m trying to rush to study 8 subjects :(. Now I;m feeling much better that’s why I have the mood to type this entry. HMM.. THe new Cathay Cineplex at AMK hub has officially opened. I have some coupons here. Who wants to watch movie with me. It states here if I buy 4 tickets, the 4th one will be a free one. Not that cheap but oh wellss can lessen the cost mah, ooh another one is with minimum 4 tickets purchase from MON-Thursday , u only pay $6.00 per ticket. how cheap is that,. LOL.

To everyone in MB0502 hope you will endure this sem and then we are free from books and studies for half a year. 9 subjects.. is nothing .. LOL

read about mel being locked out of her room. It happened to me today. WAs procrastinating to make a spare key for my room especially on weekends because my roommate won;t be able to come back all the way from JB to open the door for me. ANd today was a SATURDAY .. GOSH>>> telephoned my first help line .. my landlord.. he rsaid he did not have any spare keys for rooms but he has spare keys for the main door.. DOTZ>> and I asked him to help me call a locksmith and he wants me to pay $35 on my own to open that damn door.. Fine I wanted to depend on second helpline.. crossing my fingers that Yvonne is back from JB… but to no avail.. I left my HP inside the room and my other housemates do not have her number.. NO choice but to call for locksmith.. While waiting for him to come, I cooked lunch and finished eating when he came knocking at my door. He tried unpicking the lock and managed to open the door. I tried to negotiate with him and he said " Ok lah, I charge you $30.. WAH LIAO.. my $30 gone just like that .. Shall fast..

Yesterday, we only had tutorials and practicals until 9 pm. Very tiring but it was very fun and exciting. Went to SHS (school of health sciences) for the basic cardiac life support which simply means CPR. My first time practising it with the dummy. Each of us were given a plastic cover with a piece of cotton in the middle for us to blow air into the dummy. ALl the basic steps.. ppl were like shaking the dummy.. are u ok ??? then they will shout HELP !! call 995. Damn funny ok.. head tilt chin lift, then u got to check for breathing , locate the pulse. IF no pulse, u gotta give 2 breaths . Now, this part I have big problems . I can;t even see the fellow’s chest rise .. how to give CPR like that ? then the next step was to commence CPR. Locate the landmark then give 1+2+3+4+5, 1+2+3+4+10,1+2+3+4+15 and followed by 2 breaths which i jialat.. cannot do properly again. CHeck for pulse again and breathing. NO breathing give rescue breathing BLow …3-athousand , 4-athousand , 5athousand ,,blow for 12 times… and if the fellow can breathe put him/ her in a recovery position .. VEry nice.. enjoyed the practical so much

On to the next practical aseptic dispensing.. was playing with 50 ml , 30 ml and 10 ml syringe . together with 1 1/2 inch needles and water for injection. This water is purer than any water you drink ok… but its tasteless lah.. can u imagine while u’re preparing things and u suddenly feel thirsty u break open the neck of the plastic ampoule and pour it into your mouth. shiok ah We were thought how to handle the syringe (1st and 3rd finger on the plunger) and second finger to pull/push.. all this actions are unusual for us a bit awkward but we try to practise. Taking out the needle cap with your pinkie finger and how to syringe out the liquid. If u do not have good surface tension all the liquid will pour out. PLayed with the needles and syringe until 9 pm. And everyone took extras home to play because we have practical test next week

WE managed to watch shrek 3 also. Was very funny and it’s a worth watching show. what will u get if you cross breed donkeys and red dragons ? watch out for that if u are gonna watch Shrek 3,, they are damn cute babies. what about puss in boots always begging ppl with those cute eyes.. what happens to him when he changed his identity with the donkey ? lol its a very nice and funny show :) 

ON friday, we went to Vivo City to watch the 3rd series of Pirates of The carribean (At world’s end). The movie was alright suffice to say but the first 2 installations were either more funny or nicer. The show lasted 3 hours. we sat in the cinema from 4pm - 7pm. It was dar’s first time watching Pirates of The caribbean. After the show, we went around Vivo CIty and for me I was trying to find a top that could suit my skirt. BUt couldn;t find one. We settled down at Kim Gary at 9 pm.

Dar orde red steak baked cheese rice while I order honey spare ribs hotplate with co mplimentary cream soup and honey lemon drink. Mine tasted superb while dar’s meal was not that nice. He practically ate and munch until all the meat’s ripped from the ribs. LOL. Really enjoyed the dinner and was very bloated after the dinner. NOw for the interesting part. My dad suddenly send me an e-mail saying that he was coming down on Saturday which was yesterday and I only received the mail on thursday. Was kinda shocked le.

They came on saturday morning and ate breakfast at my house (bread with ham). We went to orchard at 1 pm after eating lunch at Pepper Lunch. I bought a top for $10, GUess bag , comoditee bag and pants. woots feel so happy to have a free ATm card with me . Waiting for more ppl to come shop with me .. *HInts *

Yesterday was a boring and tiring day. HAd one hour of Pharmacy Management and another hour for BAsic Pharmacology 2. Was tired and restless for the entire period lah.. SIgh.. And After that I was supposed to meet Dr Guo for Drug Development. Went to Koufu to have lunch, ate my ban mian and was tad a late to meet her. As usual, since they impose the $10 fine if u do not wear a lanyard, we were forced to wear because the discipline master;s office was next to her office.

ASked her about SNPs, DNA microarray, RNAi and digressed a bit we started asking her about our journal paper which she was not familiar with. We probed further and asked what she majored in. And she told us she was a medical doctor. That shocked us quite a bit cause among all the DRs in SCL she is the only one who can practise medicine.. How cool is that. But unfortunately she cannot practice here in Sg only in CHina and I started asking her how was life at that time when she was working as a doctor. SHe told us that she was once dispatched to the A & E and was working in a hectic environment. SHe even trained to become a surgeon for 2 years, SUch a waste sia.. and now she is like working for a drug development company and now lecturer. All her hard work to study medicine..

Nadirah came to my house and lepak. We watched Heroes until5 plus before we head off to Orchard. We ate at Long John’s Silver my very first time at that fast food outlet and I must say my first time eating there was ok. We walked and were browsing items at shops and I really wanted to buy either a denim skirt or a plain skirt. One cost more than the other by $0.30. But the plain skirt is damn comfortable but in terms of money sake, denim is more reasonable. ARrgh shall wait for the next shopping trip to make up my mind.

Went all the way to PS to meet my bro to buy new hp but by the time I reached there it was already closed. And yet my bro asked me to wait for him for 10 minutes and after 10 minutes have elapsed he was still walking to Orchard MRT. I;m in Dhoby Ghaut mrt thats like still 10-15 minutes away from me,.. SIgh,then ended up no hp .. Waste my time. But he gave me a invitation card for a photoshoot and make up that is worth $588 but damn the company only allows him and HIS family to use it.. wahkaoz.. and i was hoping that I could have some photoshoots.. all dreamz shattered Wells currently studying for basic pharmaco 2 test on friday with 14 sets of lecture notes with average 36 slides per set. and its only week 5.. can u imagine if its the end of the semester. I would have to study at least 100 sets of lecture notes.

First test of the semester and it was a great head start. It was generally a straight forward paper and was glad to be able to complete it. Next week , I still have another test waiting for me and it will be the toughest test, Basic Pharmacology 2 (a continuation of last sem) with 10 short questions. NO mCQ .. sigh.. CUrrently, busy handling class jersey design and maybe plan ahead of the farewell party for Miss Ang. It seems this year loads of lecturers are quiting their job and all with a surname starting with alphabet C , Dr CHan, Dr Chooi, Chan May may. MIss ang will be leaving and mr tan has left NYP. She should have waited for us until the end of the sem but no.. she has to leave early so sad you know.. Besides that, been researching on 3 of my projects and 3 more to go. Nothing much other than school work.

And I have volunteered myself to help out in Sg’s national day parade for the second time. MAnaged to convince dar to follow me as well. Hope he can be woth me during the trainings. This year they will be celebrating their national day on a floating platform at Marina Bay. Damn cool seh. More goodie bags and good old times again Training’s starting soon next Saturday. Hope it will be fun.

This was the 2nd time we were attempting to watch spidey 3. We went and buy the tickets through AXS machine. While buying, both of us never thought bout the date we were buying and was expecting the machine to know when we want to watch it. Besides that, we were like wondering how come the timings were in the evenings if we were to watch it the following weekday. BUt we were so smart, paid through the machine which cost us $17.00. We were all ready to go and watch at PS when dar suddenly felt like checking the ticket and what we saw was disappointing.

We were supposed to watch on the 11th but the ticket was for 10th of May. So sad you know.. sigh.. We took a chance and went to the cinema to exchange for that day’s ticket but the manager refused to budge and do anything bout it and yeah we wasted $17 for nothing.Ended up we walked all the way back to Orchard and went to Far EAst plaza to shop and went home with a broken heart.

But that broken heart was healed instanteneously because of MAlcolm who downloaded the movie on his Apple lappie. Hehe although no cinematic atmosphere but it was worth it that we managed to watch it . That day we had SCL kick off too and there were altogether 11 teams competing on that day. The best match was between JOga BOnito and Telebubbies which Joga BOnito emerged as champions while Telebubbies won third place. Black Body was 2nd. Tired.. now studying for CRM.. SIan..

Previously, went out to watch Wild HOgs with Su Zhen and Peggy. The show was hilarious and the ppl acting in it are famous dudes, We have John Travolta, William Macy, Tim Allen and Samuel Jackson i think.. not sure.. Anyway the movie tells about how these 4 guys go on a biking trip and ended up having great memories and friendships. Before the show, we went to Topshop and I saw this yellow blouse. It was damn nice and it only cost $23. I tried but it was too loose. Peggy suggested to go to Wisma Atria to try to get a smaller size there. I managed to try the white one which was just nice but it was white. Didn;t really favour white. We were still walking around until Peggy helped me find a black one. IN the end I bought the black top and both of them bough something for themselves too.

Over this weekend, nothing much to do. Wanted to watch Spiderman 3 at PS but not tickets were available. All the time slots were selling fast and only left single seats. While we were eating Subway, I realised that my throat was feeling sore. When I went back home, I had fever and I felt cold and hot at the same time. But today, feeling better le.. I do not want to get sick, My brain cannot function properly if I’m sick and I will lose my temper easily. :
